I am Pastor Simon Lievaart. It has been an honour for me to serve as the minister at Bethel for the past 6
years. Prior to this I served for 6 years as minister of a congregation in the United States. I grew up in
Southern Alberta, received my BA from Redeemer University (Hamilton, Ontario), and my Masters of
Divinity from Mid-America Reformed Seminary (Dyer, Indiana). God has blessed me with a loving and
supportive wife and has given us five children. I love learning of God’s Word and sharing it with others.
In my spare time I enjoy family walks and hikes, hockey, biking, camping, gardening, and whatever might
be going on.
